A Bit About Kit
Kit Chase is a children's book illustrator and author, writing and illustrating four of her own picture books for G.P. Putnam and Sons, and illustrating two picture books for Zonderkidz. She has done a number of freelance projects for clients including Pampers, Evenflo, and Papyrus.
If you were to pick-pocket Kit, you'd come out with a handful of pencils, eraser chunks, and lifesavers.
When she's not sketching out new ideas and erasing most of them, you'll probably find her making chocolate chip cookies, gardening, running, or biking with her 6 children. She is owned by a cat named Mouse and a dog named Athena. Her favorite color is blue and green, her favorite food is hot bread, and her favorite picture book is The Giant Jam Sandwich by Janet Burroway and John Vernon Lord.
